Your strange neighbor has been gone a lot lately, and has been acting even more suspicious than normal. When the initial murders of prominent cereal bloggers started, you did not think he could have been involved, but why does he keep buying so many bagels? You see him leaving to buy some more cream cheese, maybe it is time to do some investigating…

Cereal Killer is one of Trapped!’s newest games and is the only game in 2 Trapped locations. This was the first game I was involved in as Project Manager. When I had come in, the previous designer had completely designed the room, but this was the first time a Trapped! room would be managed as a project with a timeline, budget, sourcing and purchasing, and technical drawings. I was in charge of creating these and managing them as the project moved along. We also had to convert the project from a 3D rendering software to Autodesk Fusion 360 in order to create the technical drawings package. During testing, people were extremely frustrated at the complexity of the game and lack of storyline. I re-branded it from Lost Keys, a game about a guy who comes back into town and tries to find his keys in his bagel obsessed neighbor’s apartment before he gets back from the store, to Cereal Killer. I created a new storyline with the existing manufactured design, and customers were finally able to play the game without too much frustration.
